Nov. 1st Trafficking Awareness-To-Action Monthly Meeting

Thursday, November 1, 6-7:30 pm join us at Parkade Center, downstairs Chairman's Boardroom, 601 Business Loop 70W, Columbia. Representative Jean Evans will join us by speaker phone. She was mentioned as one of the 2018 Outstanding Freshmen in the Sept. Missouri Times. She fought hard to pass a bill to protect girls from predators through child marriage. It raised the minimum legal marrying age to 16 and requires a signed approval of at least one parent to marry at 16 or 17. Also, marriage licenses will NOT be given to people age 21 and older intending to marry someone 16 or younger.
* Please bring a donation of a pkg of toilet paper or paper towels or a bottle of hand soap or dish soap for survivors served by the Coalition.
* Bring your unwanted shoes for the Shoe Drive to benefit CMSHTC!
